Joan

Joan Davidson, owner of Interiors By Design, grew up in Alaska, where her love for design and arts flourished. Upon moving to Salem in 1996, she was hired by Interiors By Design as a part-time sales associate where her innate sense of style and natural flair made the transition into the trade seamless, and let to the partnership with Tina in 2012 and eventually sole ownership in 2016.

A career in interior design has allowed Joan to fulfill both her creative passion and her desire to provide a personal touch on each engagement. Her goal has always been to learn each client’s story and then incorporate the client’s ideas with her own vision, thereby creating a space which perfectly reflects the client’s individual style.

Joan lives in Salem with Wayne, her husband of over 40 years and their 4 grown children and 5 grandchildren.
